Myst has her own baggage. The daughter of a Madonna-like rock star, she doesn't know who her father is. Liker her mother, she sleeps with any guy who catches her eye. She is abused by her boyfriend Grouper. Myst doesn't really love Grouper, she is just settling for what she has. Her mom never really paid any attention nor does she care if Myst gets an abortion.
Grouper is extremely abusive toward Myst thus showing all his insecurities. He controls Myst and it seems like he doesn't care about her. Like Myst he doesn't really love her they are just settling for what they have. He doesn't care for human life. The son of a senator he was most likely neglected as a child and raised by nannies.
Grouper and Myst both split the part of the protagonist, they are both confused and don't know what they want.
Myst is a whore of a character therefore I decided to put her in a short pink dress. This shows that she isn't an innocent 17 year old girl as well as saying that she likes to get around.
For Grouper he is the typical 17 year old teenager so I put him in trunks and a sleeveless tee shirt.
The characters are the same in the play and film we didn't really change much about that.
If I had a chance to film with unlimited funds I would film it at sun set cliffs in San Diego because it's absolutely beautiful there and would be a good filming area for the end of the play. I can see Megan Fox as Myst because she portrays slutty very well. It would also attract a lot of males to the film. Shia Labeouf comes to mind for Grouper because he is good at portraying any character he can. He's really precise, and I can definitely see him doing a good job. He is also an excellent actor and many people like him therefore attracting many people. The characters would be shot in a nice car maybe a Lexus or Mercedes possibly a farrari to show that their families have a lot of money. As for the costumes go I would have loved to be able to go all out with different styles of short dresses to show that Myst doesn't really care about her self or her future. With Grouper it would have been easy sticking with a sleeveless Tee and beach trunks. I can see Quentin Tarantino as the director because he always makes his films funky and different. I think a lot of people would enjoy watching it.
